Service Availability
vFire alerts are provided as a best-effort emergency notification system. While we strive for 100% uptime and immediate delivery:
- SMS delivery depends on cellular network availability
- Alerts may be delayed due to carrier or network issues
- Service may be interrupted for maintenance or technical issues
- Critical alerts (tornado warnings, active fires) bypass quiet hours
This service does not replace official emergency notifications from local authorities, emergency management, or your utility. Always follow official evacuation orders and emergency instructions.
Supported Carriers
This service is available on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most regional carriers.
Age Restrictions
This service is available to subscribers 18 years of age or older, or with parental/guardian consent for minors.
Modifications to Service
Vantage Point Solutions reserves the right to modify alert types, frequency, and these terms with notice to subscribers. Material changes will be communicated via email or SMS notification.
Limitation of Liability
vFire alerts are provided as an additional safety tool. Vantage Point Solutions, its employees, and partner utilities are not liable for delayed or undelivered alerts, actions taken based on alerts, service interruption, or inaccurate third-party data.
Third-Party Data Sources
vFire integrates data from National Weather Service (NWS), NOAA Storm Prediction Center (SPC), NASA FIRMS, USDA Drought Monitor, and private weather station networks. We are not responsible for accuracy or availability of third-party data.
