Filing Window Closes November 30, 2026
SUMMARY
On September 28, 2026, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released a Public Notice announcing the opening of the filing window for Revised ACAM I and ACAM II carriers to file downward obligation and support adjustments. Revised ACAM I and ACAM II carrier obligation and Fabric location information can be found in Attachment A and B of the notice. The filing window will close on November 30, 2026.
The FCC will use the June 2026 Fabric unit counts and the previously established location density criteria to recalculate each carrier’s revised support amount. The adjusted support amount will be applied to remaining ACAM disbursements.
Revised ACAM I or ACAM II carriers that have reported or will report enough units in the High-Cost Universal Broadband (HUBB) portal to meet their obligations and are able to demonstrate the units are eligible for high-cost support, are not required to seek an adjustment.
The Bureau and USAC will be utilizing the Fabric as part of compliance reviews and will investigate discrepancies. If a carrier identifies a mismatch in the datasets, steps to rectify the discrepancy are recommended.
THIS MAY APPLY TO YOU IF…
You are a Revised ACAM I or ACAM II recipient.
ACTION ITEMS & TIMELINE
- Review the number of units based on June 2026 Fabric data and compare them to Revised ACAM I or ACAM II obligation number of units.
- Determine if an adjustment is needed (if you have enough HUBB certified locations that will pass a verification review to meet your obligations, an adjustment is not needed).
- By November 30, 2026, file a certification with the FCC if requesting an adjustment.
- The FCC will release a Public Notice announcing revised support and deployment obligations for the remainder of the funding obligation period.
