Director of Power Engineering
Michael Pittman leads the power engineering group at Vantage Point, focused on delivering reliable, high-performing electrical systems for utilities and complex infrastructure environments. He directs teams across transmission, distribution, and substations, ensuring projects are executed with strong quality control, the right technical expertise, and clear coordination from concept through construction. Michael brings deep experience in distribution design, including overhead and underground systems, downtown networks, industrial facilities, and high-demand environments such as data centers. His background includes system modeling, protection, material specifications, and power quality troubleshooting, helping clients improve reliability, modernize infrastructure, and integrate evolving technologies. From standards development to procurement of critical equipment, Michael helps ensure systems are designed and delivered to perform safely and efficiently over the long term.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in power from Texas A&M University and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
