Details on two funding programs released.
SUMMARY
The National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA) released a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), announcing two different funding programs. The NOFO provides additional information and guidance on funding opportunities for Tribes or Tribal Entities seeking to deploy broadband infrastructure, affordability programs, telehealth and distance learning initiatives. The two funding programs and applicable budgets are as follows:
- Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program (TBCP) – $540M
- Split between Infrastructure and Use and Adoption
- Native Entities Grant Program (NEGP) – $250M
