What you need to know & do for the BDC.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is developing a National Broadband Map to provide detailed, accurate information on the availability of fixed and mobile broadband services. To build this map, the FCC mandates that all fixed and mobile broadband providers submit Broadband Availability Data and other relevant details in a Broadband Data Collection (BDC) filing twice a year.
The National Broadband Map relies on provider data submitted through Broadband Data Collection (BDC). Filings are due twice yearly: March 1 (reflecting data as of December 31) and September 1 (reflecting data as of June 30).
