Unassigned 2.5GHz Spectrum
On March 21, 2022, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released an updated Public Notice, FCC 22-24, in which the FCC announced the procedures, deadlines, minimum opening bid amounts and the adopted inventory for the upcoming unassigned 2.5GHz spectrum auction, Auction 108, which is scheduled to begin on July 29, 2022.
Important Dates & Deadlines
- The Short-Form Application (FCC Form 175) Window Opens on April 27, 2022, at 12:00PM (Eastern)
- The Short-Form Application Filing Window Closes on May 10, 2022, at 6:00PM (Eastern)
- Upfront Payments will need to be made by June 23, 2022, at 6:00PM (Eastern)
- A Mock Auction will be conducted on July 26-27, 2022
- Bidding Begins in Auction 108 on July 29, 2022
