Siskiyou Telephone Announces Russell G. Elliott as Chief Executive Officer
ETNA, CA, September 9, 2021 – Siskiyou Telephone Company’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce it has named Russ Elliott as its new Chief Executive Officer effective October 2021. Elliott succeeds Jim Lowers who will assume the role of President and will remain an active member of the team while working on key projects through 2022.
“It’s exciting times at Siskiyou Telephone and the Board and I are confident that Russ is the right person to build on our positive company momentum,” said current CEO, Jim Lowers. “Russ is a seasoned leader and possesses the qualifications and expertise to continue to drive success in the months and years ahead.”
Elliott comes to Siskiyou Telephone with extensive industry background and professional success. Elliott’s most recent role was Director for the Washington State Broadband Office where he stewarded the state office from a start up to a collaborative organization responsible for $326 million in funding targeted to providing affordable broadband access to all Washington residents.
Elliott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Fort Lewis College, Durango, CO and a Master of Business Administration degree from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO.
