Heart of Iowa Communications Cooperative partnered with us as a strategic marketing consultant to help guide their successful fiber rollout in Grundy Center, Iowa, while supporting and augmenting their internal marketing team. Before launch, we developed a comprehensive communications and go‑to‑market plan to align messaging, customer experience, media strategy, and community outreach, ensuring a cohesive and locally grounded rollout. 
 
That strategic foundation helped drive strong early adoption. The Grundy Center build achieved 721 sign-ups out of 1,200 serviceable locations, resulting in a 60.1% take rate and exceeding the initial enrollment goal by more than 44%. To support customer onboarding and trust-building, we guided the creation of a dedicated landing page with FAQs, reinforced a “Talk to a Human” support message across materials, and helped design a welcome kit for new customers. 
 
Community engagement played a central role in the rollout strategy, with coordinated outreach through local events, Chamber of Commerce participation, grassroots messaging, and earned media. Paid media supported these efforts as part of an integrated mix, generating more than 380,000 impressions, 1,800+ clicks, and 87 conversions across social, display, and video channels during the initial launch phase. Together, these efforts positioned Heart of Iowa as a trusted local provider and created momentum for future marketing collaboration.
