With more than 25 years in wireless site development, John Koos brings a rare blend of entrepreneurial vision, executive leadership, and hands-on expertise to his role as Director of Strategic Markets at Vantage Point Solutions. Drawing on his experience founding and growing a site development firm that helped clients accelerate network deployment and overcome regulatory hurdles, John offers a unique perspective on both operational and strategic business challenges. John’s expertise spans the full lifecycle of wireless infrastructure. He helps clients identify coverage gaps, navigate zoning and environmental processes, secure permits, negotiate leases, and oversee site design—streamlining complex projects and ensuring connectivity goals are met efficiently.

At Vantage Point, John focuses on helping clients expand their connectivity options by advancing fiber engineering and wireless site development services into new markets. His ability to synthesize technical and regulatory complexities enables clients to make informed decisions and adapt to evolving connectivity needs. By building consensus among stakeholders and solving multifaceted challenges, John delivers practical solutions that drive client success. John’s active engagement with industry forums keeps him at the forefront of regulatory and technical developments, ensuring his clients benefit from the latest insights and best practices. Committed to public service, John currently serves on the County of Orange Planning Commission, with prior appointments on the County’s Parks and Recreation Commission and the Planning Commissions for the cities of Anaheim and Brea.

John has a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic University (Cal Poly Pomona).
