Andy Deinert is the Director of Network and Security Services at Vantage Point Solutions. Andy has nearly 15  years of experience in Information Technology assisting network administrators design and secure their networks.

Andy’s expertise is in the areas of cybersecurity, social engineering, data network design, network monitoring and troubleshooting. Andy is passionate in his work as a security expert and is always trying to exceed expectations.

He is proficient with commissioning and provisioning firewalls, routers, switches and servers. Andy has engineered several regional fiber optic networks for broadband service providers over the years. Having this experience gives him a superior understanding of how network security can be positioned in today’s networks.

Andy is a frequent speaker at many state and national level shows around the United States. Andy partakes in several webinars sharing his expertise in the telecommunications and financial industries and has facilitated several training workshops.

Andy majored in Computer Information Systems and minored in Computer Networking at Dakota State University (DSU) in Madison, SD. He has Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC and has his Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification in routing and switching.  He also sits on the Cybersecurity Industry Advisory Board at DSU.
