Senior Broadband Engineer
James Wilson brings decades of engineering expertise—and a lifelong passion for computing technologies—to the Vantage Point broadband engineering team. As a licensed Professional Engineer, James leads broadband deployment projects as both engineer and project manager, recognized for his ability to balance technical complexity with the human factors involved in multi-stakeholder initiatives. His approach ensures projects remain on schedule and aligned with client goals.
Before joining Vantage Point, James served for many years as a General Field Representative with the USDA Rural Utilities Service (RUS), where he guided broadband projects through federal funding processes and compliance requirements. This experience provides James with invaluable programmatic insight, enabling him to deliver practical solutions and strategic leadership for today’s evolving telecommunications landscape.
James has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
