With more than two decades of experience in civil, agricultural, and geotechnical engineering, Brian Friedrichsen, PE, brings a rare combination of technical depth and hands-on perspective to complex environmental projects. As Senior Environmental Engineer at Vantage Point, he leads teams through a range of land-based infrastructure projects—including site design, wastewater systems, and environmental permitting—helping clients navigate everything from engineering design to budgets. Brian is notable for his ability to see the full scope of a project without losing sight of the details. His background spans consulting and direct fieldwork, including hands-on mining experience, giving him a grounded understanding of how engineering decisions play out in real-world conditions. Equally comfortable at the drawing board or on a job site, Brian is trusted by clients who value both competence and candor—especially when the terrain is complex. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
