Vantage Point Opens Rapid City Office

(April 25, 2022) – Vantage Point Solutions has grown – again. The premier engineering consulting firm recently opened an office in Rapid City, South Dakota, which becomes the seventh office in their national footprint.

The Rapid City location primarily houses the company’s Environmental & Cultural Resource department and members of the CAD/Mapping team; but has capacity to house staff from other areas as well.

“The new space has all of our state-of-the-art technology needs, but also the camaraderie of interacting with our colleagues. It’s a great place for our work to call home,” says Jana Morehouse, RPA, Environmental Services Manager.

The location has additional benefits in recruiting and staff flexibility, says Chad Glanzer, company President. “The education and training institutions in Rapid City are really strong, so we’re glad to have a presence there and provide another opportunity for those students and graduates,” he says.

Vantage Point’s 450+ staff are spread across a variety of work environments, from remote construction sites to home offices. About half of the company’s employees work in one of the company’s seven brick-and-mortar locations. The largest is in Mitchell, South Dakota, where the company was founded in 2002. Satellite offices in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Charlotte, North Carolina were opened in 2017 and 2018, respectively. The firm absorbed locations in Portland Oregon, Springfield Illinois, and Kerrville Texas (near the greater San Antonio metro area) as part of a merger with GVNW Consulting in 2020.
