Judi Ushio Announces Retirement

Ushio has served the industry for more 26 years.

Vantage Point Solutions congratulates Judi Ushio, Consulting Department Division Manager, on the announcement of her retirement. Her decades-long career serving the telecommunications industry will conclude on April 29, 2022.

Judi Ushio announced her retirement effective April 29, 2022. She has served in the industry for 26 years.

Judi has specialized in regulatory planning and compliance, emergency preparedness, and State USF management. Her commitment to the industry extended to boards, also, where she is well-known for setting and training on best practices.

While this experience will be missed, Judi leaves behind a successful and experienced Consulting department, which recently surpassed $2.6 billion in broadband funding secured for clients. “Judi’s experience brought tremendous depth to our group; and we are fortunate that she keenly mentored others to take over these areas without interruption,” says Julie Darrington, VP of Consulting. “We congratulate her on a well-earned retirement!”

After beginning her career in Hawaii, Judi has served the industry primarily from Colorado Springs, Colorado for many years. She joined Vantage Point as part of the merger with GVNW Consulting in 2020.
