Quentin Flippin and Lee Jager to speak at Broadband Symposium

Vantage Point joins industry consortium for February 1 event.

Electric Cooperatives, Municipal Governments, and other organizations considering broadband deployments are encouraged to attend Plan it. Build it. Connect it!, a one-day symposium detailing the steps to a broadband deployment.

The Symposium, which will feature expert panels and hands-on demonstrations, will be held February 1 in Franklin, TN. Graybar, Corning, and TVPPA are primary organizers, while several other industry leaders will contribute subject matter expertise.

That includes Quentin Flippin, PE, Director of Engineering at Vantage Point Solutions. Quentin will discuss feasibility and business modeling, particularly focused on funding programs and CapEx budget development. He will also speak on operational considerations and how initial network design impacts ongoing operations later on.

Lee Jager, Director of Integration Services at Vantage Point, will also be presenting as part of afternoon demonstrations where he’ll discuss home installation steps and considerations.

Additional panels at the Symposium include Deployment, Construction, and Supply Chain Challenges; Branding, Marketing, and Launching a Broadband Business.

In addition to Home Installations, the demonstrations will cover Aerial Construction; Testing, Splicing, and Termination; and Network Management and the Customer Experience.
