Managed Services Manager

Gaven joined the engineering staff of Vantage Point Solutions in 2008, and was promoted to Managed Services Manager in 2023. Gaven’s expertise in managed services extends across a broad range of areas, including data systems infrastructure operations and management, network security, cloud computing, and disaster recovery to name a few. He is adept at developing customized solutions that cater to the specific needs of clients, ensuring that their data systems are optimized for maximum efficiency and productivity. He also has obtained various industry certifications to further his knowledge and skillset.

Gaven has been involved in implementation of many Carrier Ethernet and DWDM transport and regional networks and has operational skills in many different areas including VoIP, IPTV ecosystems, firewalls, servers and routers.

Gaven graduated from Dakota State University (DSU) in Madison, SD with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems and minors in business and computer networking and security.  He and his wife and three kids currently reside in Mitchell, SD.
