Staff Recognized for Excellence

Staff members honored for expertise, dedication, and service to others at annual meeting last month.

Toby Lutter, Data Network Specialist, received the prestigious Silver Dollar Award for his work on server infrastructure and backup strategies, as well as internal SQL database improvements. In his nomination, it was noted that “Toby’s opinions and expertise have gotten to the point where clients will call him for advice before asking vendors who sell and maintain the equipment!”

Katie Callahan was also recognized with a Silver Dollar Award for her work in the Administration team. From her nomination: “If one were to take a step back and identify tasks in our company that carry a high degree of importance yet get the least accolades, you would find these on Katie’s list.” Those responsibilities range from fleet management to recruiting, expense reporting to developing training materials.

Carmen O’Neill, PE, received the Spirit of Vantage Point Award. Given to just one staff member annually, the Spirit of Vantage Point recognizes staff who embody Vantage Point’s mission to improve lives; the award explicitly focuses only on activities performed outside of work functions.
