Vantage Point Files Comments on NOI Supporting USF Sustainability

Vantage Point has filed comments in the Notice of Inquiry on future USF issues and sustainability of support. Respectfully submitted by Larry Thompson, PE, Jeff Smith, and Mikaela Burma, JD, it was noted that:

• Broadband sustainability is of equal importance to broadband deployment.
• A full-service network will evolve regionally.
• NOI methodology options require further analysis.
• The term of USF support needs to match the period of intended sustainability.
• There are different views on the timing the Act will require.
• Sustainability requires a stable funding base. Sustainable USF requires contribution reform.
