Dates Announced for Co-op Broadband Executive Summit

Summit will be held May 23-25 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The Co-op Broadband Executive Summit will return in 2022, slated to be held in Chattanooga, Tennessee May 23-25 of 2022. The Summit, known as CBES, is an intimate bi-annual roundtable of electric co-op executives engaged in deploying broadband.
“CBES grew out of a request from a Co-op CEO,” says Jacki Miskimins, Director of Marketing at Vantage Point Solutions. “We learned in the pandemic that smaller meetings could be extremely effective for attendees; and we were inspired by that to create an environment where these Co-ops could speak freely.”
The environment for electric co-op executives to discuss their broadband deployments peer-to-peer has been appreciated by cooperative leaders. With a discussion-driven agenda, valuable conversations develop quickly as executives ask questions most relevant to their specific operations; and gather immediate feedback and insight from fellow leaders facing similar situations.
Vantage Point Solutions hosts and facilitates the Summit and select industry vendors are permitted to participate as well. “The vendor community has so much experience and industry knowledge, and that’s a huge benefit for Co-op attendees,” says Kevin Kloehn, Vice President of Customer Relations at Vantage Point. “We’re very grateful for their support, and their willingness to take off their ‘sales’ hat when participating in the conversation.”
