Memo: Extended Relief for Performance Testing Granted
January 4, 2022
Extended Relief for Performance Testing Granted
On January 3, 2022, the FCC released an Order granting extended relief to carriers subject to the FCC’s performance testing requirements. The relief applies to all carriers, both those in testing and pre-testing environments, and allows for them to test to 70% of their required USAC selected random locations instead of the full 100% for the first two quarters of 2022.
While the FCC is allowing only 70% of the test locations to be tested for the first two quarters of 2022, they urge carriers to work to pre-test 100% of their sample as quickly as possible.
